Harriet Beecher Stowe, the famous abolitionist who wrote Uncle Tom’s Cabin, came from Cincinnati.- Cincinnati was the home of William Howard Taft, who served as both our 27th President and the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
- Steven Spielberg, the movie director, is a native of Cincinnati.
