I’m excited that Earth Day will soon be here. Today, I’ve decided to share two blogs that celebrate nature and provide a generous amount of natural color. (I like warm, earthly colors, like reds, browns and greens.)
The first blog is Uprooted Magnolia, written by a high-spirited transplant. Leah left Macon Georgia for a completely different life “as an unlikely cowgirl in love with a handsome cowboy in Wyoming”. Leah’s blog takes us on a photographic journey into life on their cattle ranch. Her photos are intriguing and passionate. (She’s a talented freelance photographer.) Leah’s a vegetarian, which means that like many singles living with food allergies, she’s quite careful about what she chooses to eat. http://leahyetter.wordpress.com/
The second blog that I would like to share is about nature in the Pacific Ocean. National
Geographic photographers undertook this project with the intent to capture the beauty and variety of the Pitcairn Islands. They succeeded! Since Singles With Food Allergies is a North American community at this time, we get to travel internationally for Earth Day through the Explorers Journal. http://newswatch.nationalgeographic.com/2012/04/19/pitcairn-islands-expedition-top-sunset-cloud-photos-2/
Which blog do you prefer? Do you know other blogs that help us celebrate Earth Day?
