Stressed about Money and Allergens, Single

Dear Single with Food Allergies in your life,
Hoarding massive stockpiles of everything seems excessive to me. However shouldn’t we purchase extra amounts of our favorite food staples that don’t contain allergens and that are produced by
small businesses? While we can’t predict what lies ahead for our country, we should purchase extra amounts of safe foods to provide us with safe carbohydrates or proteins.
Are you a shellfish-free single Member, a peanut-free single Member, a milk-free single Member or a Member with other food allergens? Perhaps you live have no food allergy, but have a child with a food allergy or with multiple food allergies? No doubt what you have discovered from this website is that interesting and helpful single adults who avoid certain food allergens are quite common. Have you discovered yet that the Members in this community might serve as virtual resources as we learn more and more about COVID-19?
As we enter March and learn about the possible spread and damage that may be caused by COVID-19, we must remain financially stable. We need to reduce the increasing stress in our lives, also. If you decide to buy ten boxes of your favorite product, instead of the usual one box, do you need to reduce your spending in another area? Probably Yes. Realize that reckless (versus thoughtful) overspending will cause you more financial stress, when it’s time to balance your budget at the end of March. Since we live with food allergies and need to buy only foods with no allergens, we need to ignore clothing sales for a while to focus on meal necessities.
Do you have a local library card? If Yes, you will access to many types of books & games at no cost! Be financially savvy and stock up on all available library items that interest you.
Let’s plan ahead with care,
Matty
